My lace sheoak, 7” try square arrived today and I have to say this is an absolutely gorgeous tool. Frankly, it’s exceeded my expectations. The quality of the manufacturing is evident in every detail. The lace sheoak is far more beautiful than depicted on your web site; not nearly as dark as the picture implied. Although I’ve already used the try square to layout some tenons on a white oak table I’m building (within minutes of delivery), I’m almost afraid to store it with my other layout tools. I’m considering storing it in it’s box to prevent any accidental damage. Magnificent job, Chris! Thank you.

My matched set of sliding bevels has arrived, and they are even more beautiful to use than they are to look at.
Really impressed and pleasantly surprised.
They are really solid – that is some piece of brass. And the heavier gauge steel in the bevel is another pleasant surprise. As are the perfect width dimensions of the slides and the internal slots.

Description

Price is for a set of 4 blocks. M6 SHCS with Nuts and Washers included.
Blocks are 35mm long and suitable for any blade up to a 27mm wide band that is quite common for resawing these days. Blocks are 5/8″ square.
Other lengths shorter and longer are available on request. 
Blocks are case hardened with the block ends being precision ground so they align perfectly with each other in their slot in the backing plate.
The guide block have 4 working faces, so perhaps every 5-10 years depending on use and abuse they can be rotated to present a fresh side to the blade.  Giving a realistic working life of 20-40 years per set of blocks.
