IMPORTANT:
We are a very small business and intend to stay that way, with no employees there is only so much one person can do in a day.
Regarding all Vesper Tools items made in house by my own hands: I’m now a solo maker again after a decade of trying to grow the business by employing others. One man can only do so much.
This has necessitated closing the order book for the first time in 20 yrs of business. Delivery times are no longer promised, the tools will be ready when they are ready. The other big change on the back of 20+ years of consistency in business here is withdrawing from the wood show circuit completely, save for a couple of events here or there as can be sensibly committed to. No point traveling to a wood show to sell tools that one does not have in stock and does not know when they will be finished.
This permanent work backlog does stifle creativity and passion for making beautiful things which is one of many things that started me in my work in the first place.
I might post work occasionally via social media and when tools are finished you’ll see it there first. Matched Sets of bevels and try squares I will continue to accept back orders for, they will be completed in the next batch run at an unknown time and the price may also change.
In between existing orders and future production and bandsaw wheels and machining work I intend to attempt to enjoy life and time in an out of the workshop more than I have been previously. For many years there has been lots of ideas and desires of beautiful things to make needing time and creativity and a clear mind and I am finally working through some of these things as time permits.
So it’s time to either do these things or move on which I am doing! And it feels good.

We tend to process and ship a batch of orders once or twice per week. So there may be a small delay before it leaves here, if something is urgent please let me know and I will happily do what I can.
Payment/shipping for overseas customers: Visa, MasterCard or Amex credit/debit cards only. Paypal is a reluctant option as I have to pass on their 4.5% fee.
Shipping overseas: Anywhere, no problem, we do it all the time. We now use DHL Express. DHL cannot ship to PO boxes, apologies for this. We can ship to your physical address so perhaps a work/daytime address your best shipping address.
Payment/shipping for Australian customers: Visa and MasterCard and Amex credit/debit cards accepted. If you wish to pay by EFT direct to Vesper Tools please make a note of your intention in the text box in the ordering process and we can email an invoice with EFT details on it.

Standard delivery timeframe is between 1-2 business days within Australia. We can ship to any address including PO Boxes, best results are usually to your work/daytime address.
Prices in $AUD include GST. All export orders are GST free.

Student Discount: As support and encouragement to full time students (three month course and up) at any recognized woodworking school world wide we offer a Student Discount of a full 10% off purchases of any tools made by Vesper Tools. Make a note of your studies in the text box at the end of the online order process to get this discount, it won’t show up on the total in the order but will be calculated manually. The not so fine print: This offer excludes Signature Series and Super Premium Tools and custom made tools, if you are a student, you can’t afford them anyway, and if you can that is fantastic but I really need the money here to help build my tiny little one man empire and buy more machines.
