Matched Sets of Sliding Bevels

These matched sets are the pinnacle of workmanship from Vesper Tools.  They are finished to the highest level possible by Chris Vesper himself.  All care is taken with the details of finish on the brass, the timber infills and their polishing, and the detail with the blades. 

Potential timbers available are not limited to, but include the following:
-10,000 yr old Black Red Gum.
-Boxwood.
-Ebony.
-Kingwood.
-Cocobolo.
-Ringed Gidgee.
-Tasmanian Blackwood (rich dark figured)
-Olive Wood (figured)
-Ringed Wilga.
-Australian Ebony (D. humilis)
-Conkerberry.
-Birds Eye Huon Pine.
-Curly maple.
-Amboyna Burl.
-Brazilian Rosewood.

Any Dalbergia species (Brazilian Rosewood, African Blackwood, Cocobolo, Kingwood) is subject to import/export restrictions.  CITES certification will have to be obtained at cost of the purchaser for any cross-border sales.  All timbers used at Vesper Tools are pre ban.  This precious resource should be used very sparingly and we feel that infills in tools that are destined for perhaps 200 plus years of use are fitting for these majestic timbers.
