These super heavy duty bandsaw guides could hardly be simpler to fit onto your Wadkin DR bandsaw. The parts from Vesper Tools are made to fit the machines. As part of the purchase process we will discuss and confirm if there is any dimension variations in your machine from others the guides have been fitted to, but no variance has been found yet.
There are two notable positives from fitting these to an old Wadkin DR bandsaw.
One is that you will gain approx 40mm extra depth of cut. This is because of the simplicity and compactness and strength of these guides compared to the old.
The second is the ease and precision of adjustment compared to old brass or wooden blocks held in place with a hex head bolt that will invariably rotate and move about as you tighten the blocks.
