Two optional extra for the kits are available:
- Natural water stone for honing the edge should it be blunt more than a strop will fix, natural Slovakian water stone.  $65 extra.
- Spoon blanks x 3.  Various timbers, various sizes, various shapes, Camphor Laurel, Silky Oak, Cypress, Sycamore & more available.  3 blanks per kit supplied.  $32 extra. Huon Pine spoon blanks can be added to any kit for extra cost.

The Kit Plus has all of it except the waterstone. 

We recommend a 35mm RH and 20mm LH, or perhaps opposite handed version of that for a starter set of spoon tools.  This gives you the two most popular size curves and it gives you a Left and Right handed knife so you can work with push or pull cutting no matter if you're left or right handed.
